Can Christians be Nomads?
Communion With Believers:
It can be a hard situation when speaking on the topics the Bible is fairly vague on; however, we can use general principles and apply it to a nomadic life. In the epistle(letter) to the Hebrews, we read, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting(encouraging) one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching," (Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV). This passage emphasizes the importance of Christians meeting up with one another and encouraging them in their faith. So if one wanted to live as a nomad, one must be sure to not forsake communion with believers so perhaps being a nomad with fellow believers would be fine. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them," (Matthew 18:20 KJV). Even with a few amount of believers, this can be done so long as the person is not alone.
The Mission of Christians:
As Christians, our mission is to: "Go ye(or you) therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost(or Spirit)," (Matthew 28:19 KJV). If we do not work to preach the Gospel, this can be an unfortunate missed opportunity to save another and with a Nomadic life, this may be challenging. It truly depends on how one operates as a nomad.
