Can Christians Dance?

In some denominations, the act of dancing is seen almost as a sin in itself, so let us dance that idea away here! In many places in the Bible, we see dancing as a valid practice in worship. "Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs," (Psalm 150:4 KJV). In our praise or worship, we can dance. "Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp," (Psalm 149:3 KJV).

In fact, King David even dances in front of God: "And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod," (2 Samuel 6:14 KJV). It would seem that based on these verses God does allow worship through dancing.
