Does Everything Happen For a Reason?

Does Everything Happen For a Reason?

It is important to note that we do not see this phrase directly from the Bible; however, we seem to see a similar idea in a few passages. In the epistle to the Romans, the apostle Paul writes, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose," (Romans 8:28 NASB1995). This verse shows us that even when there are poor situations, God can bring good out of them. When my brother had died for example, perhaps not instantly as I was still relatively young still, but it planted a great seed in my heart. It makes one realize that death is imminent and that it is important to find out what happens when they are to die. The point is that God can make good things come out of horrid situations. He can cause things to point to him.
