Are There Christians in The Bible?

This perhaps seems like a strange question, and I can not state it is not. Yet, here is an answer. In the book of Acts, Luke writes, "And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch," (Acts 11:26 KJV). So yes, the church became known as Christians in Antioch. The word used for Christians in this passage is, "Χριστιανούς." It comes from the Greek word, "Χριστός." Χριστός, meaning the anointed one or the messiah. Χριστιανούς, meaning follower of Christ.

Another occurrence of this word is in 1 Peter, where it says, "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian(Χριστιανός), let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf," (1 Peter 4:16 KJV).

Again in Acts, we also read, "Agrippa replied to Paul, “In a short time you are going to persuade me to make a Christian(Χριστιανὸν) of myself,” (Acts 26:28 NASB).
