C. F. Von Weizsäcker

C. F. Von Weizsäcker was a german scientist and philosopher. Espically known for inventing SEMF, or the Weizsäcker formula. This being used to approximate atomic nuclei's properties by the number of protons and neutrons.

Georges Lemitre

Georges Lemaitre was a Catholic priest who also dabbled in the field of science. One of his many achievements was creating the theory of the big bang. A theory that nearly all scientists of today agree with.

Lemaitre thrived in both theology and science. He received a Ph.D. in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and became an Abbe in the Catholic church.

Issac Newton

Issac Newton, one of the most famous scientist to have ever existed, achieving many things in the scientific world including establishing the concept of gravity, creating calculus, and creating the three laws of motion. He had an estimated IQ of 193! (40-50 points higher than Einstien, an agnostic)

Newton was born in an Anglican family but held Arian beliefs. Newton actually wrote hundreds of papers on religion, speaking mainly about the many prophecies in the Bible.

Johannes Kepler

Johannes Kepler was a German astronomer, mathematician, and philosopher. He is known for his books on the laws of planetary motion, Astronomia nova, Harmonice Mundi, and Epitome Astronomiae Copernicanae. Having an estimated IQ of 177.

Kepler was born into a poor family, but his intelligence managed to get him a scholarship to the University of Tubingen to study Lutheran ministry. Kepler's family was Lutheran, but he denied certain beliefs making him eventually convert to catholicism.
