What Denomination is Jesus Apart of?
It is truly hard to say what denomination Jesus is a part of as the concept of denominations came far after him. In the time of Jesus, we were merely called Christians or Nazarenes(Acts 24:5). The term Christian means follower of Christ; the term Nazarene came from the fact that Jesus grew up in Nazareth. Every denomination will claim Jesus would be a part of their denomination, if they did not, they would likely not be a part of said denomination; that is, one should not follow or believe something if it is incorrect. We can of course look at the teachings of Jesus and see if denominations are biblical, but there are always going to be debates on interpretation and other tenets that the Bible never mentions or is ambiguous over. In the end, the best we can do is always study the Bible to find the truth.
