What is Blasphemy Against the Spirit?

What is the unforgivable sin, or blasphemy against the Spirit? Contrary to what one may think, the sin isn't being blasphemous(the act of being disrespectful or rude to God) against the Spirit. The sin actually is to reject the Spirit. So, what is meant by this?

Well, first of all, the Bible tells us that the Spirit dwells inside of us. This is told in 1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 2 Timothy 1:14, John 16:13, and Romans 8:9. What does the Spirit do in us? Well, he guides us through our journey and helps us learn(1 John 2:27). So by not allowing the Spirit to dwell in you, how could you truly find God

How Do We Know The Sin is Unforgivable?

Well, in the Gospel of Matthew, this is written, “Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come" (Matthew 12:31-32 NASB1995).
