Who Ate the Forbidden Fruit?

One of the most confusing topics in Genesis surrounds who ate the forbidden fruit. Some claim it was Eve, others claim it was Adam, so who really ate the fruit? Let's take a look at Genesis. "When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate" (Genesis 3:6). By this verse, we learn that they both ate it!
