Does 1 Corinthians 15:34 & 1 Timothy 1:17 Contradict?

Does 1 Corinthians 15:34 & 1 Timothy 1:17 Contradict?

Recently, some have argued that the Bible has a contradiction in these two verses. In 1st Corinthians, it supposedly says Jesus died while in 1st Timothy it says God cannot die. Here are the two verses:

1 Corinthians 15:34

"Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame," (1 Corinthians 15:34 KJV). Now this verse is supposed to say Jesus died, but it seems this verse does not say this. To steal man this person's position and be charitable, we will change this verse and act as though it was a verse that does like Romans 5:10.

1 Timothy 1:17

"Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen," (1 Timothy 1:17 KJV).

So the question summarized is, how did Jesus die if God is immortal? Firstly, let us read another letter from Paul, Philippians. "Let this mind(or attitude) be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation(or emptied himself), and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross," (Philippians 2:5-8 KJV). Jesus emptied himself taking the form of a servant(or man). As he was now a man, he humbled himself, even unto death on a cross. Jesus, in his omnipotence, seemed to have put down some of his glory to be able to die for us. This is no contradiction but a showing of the theology known as the hypostatic union, the idea that Jesus inherited a human nature allowing him to be able to die. As men can die, Jesus was able to die like a man.
